Elite level performance environment
In the Netherlands there is one facility where all elite sports come together. This is Papendal better known as the National Sports Centre. It host facilities for all the indoor and outdoor Olympics sports and football is represented by the elite youth academy of Vitesse Arnhem.
The sports complex also holds two hotels, making Vitesse a perfect location for pro/elite academies that are looking for an elite environment without distraction.
Vitesse Youth Academy
Since 2013 the youth academy of Vitesse is located at Papendal. The characteristics of the Academy are very Dutch. There is a friendly environment with a lot of attention to the individual player. The aim is to teach attaking and attractive football. At the same time the academy is very connected to their environment as they work together with 25 amateur clubs in the region.
The club also has a long history in hosting groups from abroad. The youth academy staff is experienced in training with foreign groups and know how to adapt to different cultures.
Multi Sports Tours
Football Tourz is focussed on football tours but at this location we are able to help groups with multi sports tours as well. Because of our cooperation with both Papendal and Vitesse we are able to organize a tour for any sport. For olympic sports as judo, volleyball and hockey it would even be possible to train with the national team coaches.
